This morning we had a discussion about picking our "Just right books". I used three different types of shoes to explain this concept. Ask your child what each shoe meant.
In the afternoon, we explored how do we measure sound. Students watch a video explaining how sound is measured in Db. Students then predicted how many decibels they thought their voice, the classroom and a grocery store was. We then tested some of them out using a special tool that measures sound. We tried so hard to be completely quiet, but the classroom still measured 45 Db!
