They hatched!!!!!
After much anticipation and waiting several weeks, we decided as a class to relocate our praying mantis to another classroom that was warmer in hopes it would speed up the process of our egg hatching. Our plan worked!
Well..... sort of.
Usually an egg has anywhere from 20 - 400 hatch.
We had.. well.... 4, yes. four.
We at first thought maybe it takes a while for them to hatch and we made our own habitats for our personal praying mantis.
It is safe to say these are 4 strong praying manti, whom are with a drive to survive! Cross our fingers they do survive.
Reminders:
Spring Fling is tomorrow from 6-8 outside. All are welcome.
Forms for Harry Potter due Friday.
Have a wonderful evening!
