We're nearly done our second attempt at creating a magazine page! It's taken a while, but this time the students have improved their creations through carefully examining their research.
1. Is this a fact or opinion?
2. Have I made up this fact, or is it true?
3. Have I linked my topic and clincher sentences?
The students will have them up on IRIS by the end of next week (had to postpone the due date ... this project seems to be taking longer than I anticipated!).
The students have been given their scripts today (unless they are reading Hat Trick or Cheesie Mac. Each of those scripts have not yet been completed, and won't be ready until the end of the day tomorrow.
It was also another outstanding day building mosaics with the artist in residence.
Have an outstanding evening!
Mr. MacKenzie
