Igneous (intrusive, extrusive)
The students examined their thinking today, around Reading Comprehension. They spent some time discussing what types of books they enjoy, what they think about while they read, and recent examples of books they have chosen. They used this discussion to share their love of reading with each other and to think about their thinking. In the near future we will be examining reading comprehension strategies including questioning and visualizing.
Tomorrow we are going to complete our final iteration of our cartoon portraiture, and we are going to be having our spelling test. Please be prepared to have next week's spelling words sent home tomorrow.
