Updates:
1. Performance tomorrow. Please arrive at 6:10. Students should go to the classroom so we can sort them out and get them ready. Handbell students please arrive at 5:45.
2. Afternoon performance at 2.
3. Volunteers required for the artist in residence next week from 9:45-10:30, daily. Please let me know if you can join us ([email protected]).
4. Thanks to those who had technology, we were able to use them all. They will not be required tomorrow, as we have a very action-packed day. Could you please install Google Docs (free, any platform). Students will use it for their writing in the future.
The Day:
A busy and hectic morning, yet a productive day! The students are completing their Social Studies paragraphs that they began with Ms. Kerner. They used their criteria to inform their next steps, and are nearly finished... One more work period, and they should be done!
We joined Ms. Bell's class today for an outstanding game outside! Ask your child about it, we had fun, we sweat, and we learned fractions. We also spent time reviewing our building structures and testing designs learning from earlier in the year. The students helped their buddies in Mrs. Predika's class build a chair out of paper. Nearly each group found success!
Tomorrow there will be a substitute in the morning, as I am at professional learning. In the afternoon our performance will begin at 2. If you can't make the evening performance, maybe we'll see you there!
All the best,
Mr. MacKenzie
