Today, the students reflected on their most important learning writing so far. They came up with an excellent list:
-Using action/sound effects/worry or wonder to hook the readers' attention
-Writing in complete sentences
-Use 'What?' 'So What?' 'Now What?' to reflect on artifacts
-Using describing words to make reading better
Afterwards, the students sat down and reflected on their writing so far this year. They chose 1 or 2 and described why it is important and how they have used it in their writing.
The students also watch a great video (below) that details the Rock Cycle. In fact, if you had some time and some jellybeans this weekend, it might be fun to do at home!
Tomorrow we are excited about the big Winter Concert. The students will view the show at 10am.
