What an exciting day! As you know, the students have developed their own readers' theatre scripts from key moments in their guided reading books. They have been practicing them this week, and today they were able to perform for another class! Mrs. Wilcox's class visited and provided them with feedback, based on the criteria the students generated. That feedback will be invaluable for the students as they continue practicing.
The students have also continued their work in researching their animals. We are learning so much! Did you know, for example, that some Boas give birth to live baby snakes?? Can you imagine? Or that the shark has 50 teeth? The students will be taking this learning and thinking about it deeply as they make connections about how each stage of life helps their animal survive.
There are lots of reminders below, make sure to check them out!
Reminders:
1. Hats on for mental health tomorrow
2. Picture Day on Thursday
3. Scholastic due by Friday
All the best,
Mr. MacKenzie
