What a busy day! We had so much fun at the rink. The kids were able to get skates, get on the ice, and skate around with their classmates. Afterwards, they were grouped in order to meet their learning needs. The students had fun racing around the ice completing different drills and games as they honed their skating skills. My favorite moment of the day was when a student looked up at me and said, "Mr. MacK! I learned how to skate today!"
Before we left, the students continued their work on studying National Geographic Magazines and building non-fiction paragraphs about certain topics. The students are experiencing success as they are typing in google docs, transferring it over to Keynote (which they are used for layout and design) and printing them for our first magazine.
Tomorrow we are going to complete our science experiment where we evaluate the strength of different pillars. Students will follow the scientific method as they develop their experiment.
Reminders:
1. If you are volunteering and have a form, please return it as soon as you can.
2. That's it!
Have a great night!
