What an incredibly busy day! The students continued their work on deconstructing stories by watching a Pixar animation. From there, they teamed up and matched their journal page to the criteria generated. All afternoon the students handled, drew, and documented rocks and minerals from a kit from the Glenbow Museum.
Next week the students are going to settle into a rhythm in writing where they begin story planning on their own. They will now apply their story-deconstruction work to constructing a story of their own!

1. No school tomorrow (PD Day) or Monday (Thanksgiving)
2. Any lids would be greatly appreciated. We have a few students that have brought some in, the more the better!
