The Oval was a riot today! The kids skated forwards, backwards, did crossovers, and learned how to move with force. Some of the kids that have never skated before, were even able to skate without skate aids today! It's pretty incredible to see how much improvement has happened over the past 2 skating sessions... And to think we still have one left!
Tomorrow is Valentine's day. We have a parent who is bringing in cotton candy from a commercial kitchen, and the kids are going to use criteria from our recent construction tasks to build their inboxes for valentines. Taking what they've learned about structures will help them with this.
Please remember:
1. If you are brining Valentines tomorrow, please bring one for everyone.
2. We are skating on Wednesday.
3. There is no school Thursday or Friday (Teachers' Convention), or Monday (Family Day).
4. There are more forms that have gone home for our next trip to Fish Creek Park. Please return those ASAP. Thanks!
