Our brain pocket is finished! Well... We'll add to it later, but for now we'll step back and move into writing. Ask your child what their "brain pocket" is. They may start talking about two-headed cows, or camping on the moon. A brain pocket is designed to give students facts, memories, or imaginative ideas to write about. Today we also began connecting math to sports. How far can you throw a football? A frisbee?
Beginning tomorrow, each group of students will go to another classroom to learn about hearing and sound from another teacher. Tomorrow our students will be going to Ms. Bell's class, and I will be teaching Mrs. Wilcox's students.
Please remember:
1. "Me in a Bag" will be starting soon. Please return it as soon as possible.
2. The envelope with demographic information should be returned to the classroom as soon as possible, too.
3. The digital citizenship contract should be returned as soon as possible.
Question of the Day:
How many centimeters in a meter?
