The students are impressively connecting paragraphs. For example, paragraphs often end with a clincher sentence that connect to the topic sentence of the next paragraph. They're also learning to set the reader up for understanding through detailing in a topic sentence, what the paragraph will be about. Tomorrow we'll be typing our paragraphs about the next stage of their animal's life cycle.
In Math, students may talk about the projector mounted to the roof! I can't wait to use this tomorrow... We are working on creating a frisbee golf course within the community of Evergreen. What better way to put their individual holes into perspective, than to project a giant map of the community on the ground?? Tomorrow we'll try and get it going..
Reminders:
1. Photos are due on Friday, please have them back as soon as possible
2. We will be doing the ALS Walk on Thursday, June 1, and you can donate online here.
3. On June 1st in the evening, we will be hosting Dr. Korngut, who is a ALS specialist.
4. On the 29th we have our mosaic celebration at the Fish Creek Centre. Please make sure you have posted on this blog or another that you are coming.
