Today we sorted through multiple types of instructions, determining what makes instructions simple or difficult to follow. This information will build criteria for when we write our own instruction in Science later this week. In Social we continued to analyze National Geographic magazines, identifying what made certain text features stand out, so we can add these features to our own magazine pages in the future. In Math we played multiplication bingo, practicing and strengthening our multiplication skills.
Tomorrow we will be creating our own instructions in Science based on the criteria we built today. In Social we will continue to study India, and in Math we will begin to learn about fractions.
Reminders:
1. Fish Creek field trips forms need to be returned.
2. Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day, so wear a pink shirt if you have one.
3. This weeks spelling words are posted below.
Have a great evening,
Mr. MacKenzie and Ms. Kerner
