What a busy day. The students have finalized their Rock Cycle Journal Page, and will be putting them on IRIS tomorrow. When they put them on IRIS, they will, again, put them as PDFs so you can get in close and see what they have changed. Each student was asked to focus on the feedback from their parents as their next steps.
The students also learned about 'Empathy' today from Mrs. Healing. The students played charades and had to guess, based on facial expressions, how their partner was feeling. This task is part of our "16 Habits of Mind" tasks. So far, the students have completed activities in self control and perseverence as well.
Tomorrow the students will be completing their structures and measuring their height.
Reminders:
1. Friday is PJ Day and Caroling. (We will still be having a spelling test).
Have an excellent night,
Mr. MacKenzie
