A busy week but an excellent one. The students have been hard at work on their research reports. Next week, we'll be sharing them with each other and celebrating our work with peers. They will be sharing what they will do differently on their next reports, and then you (parents) will have an opportunity to check them out an provide feedback.
The students have begun understanding math within the discipline of architecture. When you draft a plan, what measurements do you include? What operations are required? What do you need to know about operations? This study is meant to be reflective on our learning and to expose any misconceptions related to the math we have done this year.
Next week will be an excellent week. From designing a school to showing off our work, we'll be busy.
Notes and reminders:
1. I sent home the yearbook forms to everyone. If you have ordered online, please disregard it.
2. We will be going on a year-end picnic/celebration on Tuesday, June 27th. In order to do this, we will require volunteers. If you are available, we would love to have you! The more the merrier! Please email me at [email protected].
Have an outstanding weekend,
Mr. MacKenzie
