lIt's a busy time of year! Teachers always think ahead and do as much, highly engaging learning as possible for the last week. To accomodate this, we have brought in Mrs. Roworth for our tower building project and we have been developing mathematical games around bottle flipping. I'll post a math blog about it in the future, for now, ask your child how the games will work... They can fill you in!
The spelling tests today went very well. The students had been studying their words for a week, and nobody failed! Their new words (below) will be tested on Friday of next week. They will get time during class to study those words, but if you would like to practice at home, their new words are in their backpacks, too.
Next week will be very active, very hands-on learning. The students have no idea how much fun it's going to be!
Reminers:
1. Thanks to everyone who completed the Rock Cycle Journal Page rubric with yoru child! On Monday afternoon we are going to look at each piece of feedback you have given, and students will address them individually through their journal page.
Have a great weekend!
Mr. MacKenzie
