Dear Families,
Today was a day of providing feedback in a variety of ways to improve upon ourselves. This ranged from academics to organization. Students were video taped during Daily 5, then we watched the video as a group, identifying moments that demonstrated persistence and focus. After lunch we continued with providing feedback by viewing a variety of photos of the classroom and identifying what we noticed, and stating so what do we need to do. It was great to hear students verbalize their understanding of our classroom and politely communicating the expectations and criteria.
In science, we reviewed the layers of the Earth. Our next step will be completing a three dimensional version of this diagram out of plasticene!
Question of the Day:
Why do you think Alton likes maps so much?
Have a great night!
