Brr! It's cold!
This morning in math, we broke it into two parts. For the first part we tracked how well we are improving upon our accuracy and speed of recalling our mental math. For our second part they worked with partner to create the tallest free standing structure with given measurements. It was amazing to see how they communicated with their partner, devised a plan, used measurements and problemsolved.
This afternoon, students made a personal goal of where they would like to be by the end of the writing period. This was very effective!
