Science Rocks! Ok, I know it's just an expression, but still. When you are studying Rocks and Minerals, you can't really help it. This afternoon we concluded our gathering data of various types of rocks. Students were amazing how rocks are formed from other rocks, either by pressure, heat or breaking down.
Students were shown the next step in the planning process of our stories; the failed attempts. We talked about how this is a key part to the stories, it might make our stories long or really short depending on the amount of description. As a class we set the criteria and expectations and got to work.
Tomorrow students will be watching the morning rehearsal of the Winter Concert.
Have a wonderful evening!
