Tell vs. Describe.
There is a significant difference. During our writing lesson, students have been learning about using the 5 senses to describe their settings. Each student was given a different picture and asked to describe their photo with great detail. After writing, I explained how some students had the same location or setting, but it was not the same. For example, one student had a floating castle in the sky, while another had the Minecraft castle.
What is the Earth made of? This is our investigation we did in class today. Student made their predictions. While watching a video they created jot notes to support their investigation as well as new facts about the Earth.
Question of the day:
In our read aloud today we were looking for new words. We came across the word subscription. What does this word mean? Please use it in a sentence.
Have a great night!
