This morning Mrs. Roworth joined us as we continued to work on our number lines. First we had to order them and determine which cards we wanted to keep and which to discard. We create new criteria. In order to keep the card, they had to discuss with their partner how they solved the question and why it belonged on that spot on the number line.
We worked on our visual art. Please see the picture below. It is one of the 4 panels we are currently working on.
In the afternoon, we began our next science unit of Life Cycles. Students were posed with the question what makes something living? It brought on a lot of ideas of what they believe to be living or non-living. Is the sun living? How do you know? We watched a video to help us identify the 7 characteristics.
