Good afternoon families,
Today we began our day typing our paragraphs about our animal habitat dioramas. Ask me how many paragraphs I typed and what I wrote about.
Then we had outdoor gym with Mr. MacKenzie's class. We played kickball again! Ask me who won today's game.
Then we wrote more of our Reader's Theatre scripts. Ask me what my group wrote today. Does our play have a beginning, middle and end?
After recess we had snack and finished our Fourth Grade Rats book! Ask me how the story ended. What happened in the story (beginning, middle, end)? Who were the main characters? What lesson did they learn?
Then we continued our division booklets. Ask me what facts I learned today. What strategy do I use when dividing numbers? Ask me to show you how I divide numbers.
After lunch we began designing our survival board games based on the Great Apes Survival Game. Ask me what endangered animal my group chose to create our game about. What fact cards are we using? What shape is our game board? How many players can play?
We had music and learned more about recorders! Ask me what we learned today.
We ended the day finishing up our Harry Potter silhouette art projects. Ask me if I included Hogwarts castle or a quidditch court.
