Please note that we will be going to Fish Creek tomorrow - we have found enough volunteers! Thank you very much for those who are coming. We look forward the walk/sketching/photography that we will be doing tomorrow.
World 1, Level 3. The students completed the challenging table task one last time. All students were challenged as they went through 3-digit addition and subtraction computational problems. They came up with a number of solutions, and showed that they are eager to solve problems.
Students also continued their research on Alberta through the Museokit from the Glenbow Museum about Alberta's Natural Resources. They went through posters that were created in the 1800s to draw newcomers to Western Canada. They talked about renewable and non-renewable resources as they thought critically about the posters. Why were they made? Why were they successful?
This will later connect with the idea of propaganda.
Question of the Day:
-What city or town would you most like to visit in the region you are studying?
