Parents, students, teachers are all welcome to suggest resources for our Learning Commons! Please follow this link to tell us what to get!
Today has been a busy day, filled with Math, Social Studies, Science, and Art.
Students worked hard on an extremely complex challenge in Math. They then listened to a First Nation's legend and deconstructed it. As students examine more legends, they will develop a deeper understanding of how a legend is written and how Alberta's animals play critical roles. In Science, students have developed their data collection strategies for the experiment described on Friday's blog post. We are excited to get outside and really observe how the sun moves across the sky.
Please note that tomorrow at 10:30 there will be a Remembrance Day Assembly. Students will be reminded about the following guidelines, but it would not hurt to discuss them at home:
- Serious assembly
- quiet standing for O Canada
- The Last post / The minute of silence / Reveille is standing and a time to think and be reflective….they must be still and thoughtful. You can remind them to bend their legs a bit for balance.
- No clapping assembly
- leaving the gym and coming to the gym in Silence.
Question of the Day:
What did you do in Art this afternoon?
